A short walk near the golf course leading to the "Dragon teeth". No access to strollers because the route is bumpy. Really nice view of the ocean. There is a small parking lot with not too much spaces. Near the parking lot you can see the beginning of the Kapalua Coastal Trail near the Ritz-Carlton hotel (open to the public).
A gorgeous shoreline with waves crashing against the cliffs with a mindfulness labyrinth to walk. We went at sunset and it was worth every minute of the walk down. There is a parking lot for parking your car if you drive.
A viewing point on the West Maui where you get a wide angle view of the Pacific and it's blues. A light trail easy for beginners without any hassle of reservation and hustle. I'm in love with the view and ride. It's better if you reach there early in the morning or late in the afternoon. It's a completely open space with strong wind. if you love snorkeling IT is the SPOT that you're looking for. Turtles, fish, lobster and what not to see. Water is soo clean and blue you'll instantly fall in love. Crashing waves onto the cliffs is rather calming. You can sit on the beach nearby which is also not crowded at all. Overall it is a place which you can cover in 1-2 hrs. A top recommendation for sightseeing in Maui.
I’m happy to see the trail has been fixed and there are clear signs to not go off trail. Don’t be that person. Stay on the trail. Don’t be disrespectful. If you go off trail, you must sacrifice yourself to pele. It is necessary. Just don’t be that guy. No one likes that guy. Even that guy doesn’t like that guy.
Rough rugged and volcanic feels like you are stepping into a fresh lava flow. Great for sunsets and even some whale watching. I posted a few videos of whale breaching but it is in phone camera so may seem far off. Wear good walking shoes. Decent amount of parking at foot of Office road xnc short quarter mile hike to Dragons Teeth.
Nice little walk down by golf course to the old lava flow. Totally looks like the back of a dragon. There is even a spot at the end of the point where you can hear the dragon breathing. Scared me at 1st. Totally cool. Just be respectful of the surroundings. Aloha 🤙 …
Great spot for sunset, windy and amazing short walk from the parking with a view.
A cool side trip to see some really cool rock formations. You will see the waves crashing up against the rock walls. Definitely cool to visit if you are in the area.
